Dilruk is the Innovation Strategy Consultant at Coller IP, bringing with him over 16 years of experience in innovation strategy, product launch and innovation management, particularly in the advanced materials and textiles, and emerging technologies in the fields of apparel and healthcare.

Dilruk has over 16 years of professional experience driving change through a combination of strategy, innovation, R&D, IP, corporate entrepreneurship and sustainability. He has worked on many challenges championing the customer, but with a strong commercial mindset. Dilruk thrives on managing highly engaged teams that translate strategy and insight into bottom-line growth. He also brings a broad international perspective having worked across Europe, the US and Asia, mainly in the fields of apparel, health & wellness and healthcare.
Dilruk has built and nurtured R&D teams for idea generation, development and commercial implementation of new processes, technologies and products. He has developed and implemented opportunity identification methodologies, design-thinking and lean startup models. He has secured impressive growth (£800 million) for multi-million-dollar clients in diverse arenas, including sustainable business modelling.
Dilruk holds a BSc degree in Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, and a PhD degree in Materials Science (medical device) from the University of Manchester, and a diploma in Charted Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK), and completed a senior executive programme – Strategy and Innovation at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
